Challenge 1: Opinion on drugs
First, this question is too broad.
Pharmaceuticals: I think western society is far too dependent on them and that the industry, at this point, is nothing more than a business trying to turn a profit, regardless of who they hurt on the way.
Marijuana: Why the hell this is even a topic for debate, I don’t know. It’s a plant. I don’t understand how someone thinks it’s okay to ban a plant. I’ve never heard of an otherwise healthy, normally-functioning person going berserk and shooting people up because they got high.
Ecstasy: As long as you are consenting to taking it and you don’t hurt anyone else, go wild. I see nothing wrong with it.
Nicotine: My favorite (unless we’re counting caffeine). Don’t force anyone else into trying it or to breathe your smoke if they don’t want to. But otherwise, join me on a smoke break.
Cocaine: never tried it. I figure if a person can maintain a decent, independent lifestyle, while also not harming anyone else, even indirectly, if they want to do coke on their own time, that’s not my business.
Heroin, meth, etc: I’d be fine with these remaining illegal. I’ve not seen an instance where people did not harm others (at best, only emotionally) with habits like this.

I (mostly) agree. Except with X. It’s a hell of a drug. It fucked me up as much as, if not more than, acid and is REALLY dangerous for your body if you do it more than a couple times a month. It can irreparably damage your dopamine receptors.
